PAINTED DESIGN
Desk Riser
Acrylic on Wood 24" x 6" x 6"
This desk riser was custom built to provide a decorative focal point with closed storage organization. The handles are carved to incorporate the movement in the painted design. The left drawer is full depth, while the right has a removable tray and offers two shallower storage levels.
This part of my studio is where a lot of planning and initial ideas are explored. I needed a place to house my most used drawing materials and miscellaneous desk clutter while still having it all within reach. When my space gets messy my brain feels the same, so having a clear landing space for my creativity is critical for new ideas.
